1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the Kitchen Cupboards website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services

Kitchen Cupboards provides custom design, manufacturing, and installation services for:

• Kitchen cupboards and cabinetry
• Built-in cupboards and wardrobes
• Bathroom vanities
• TV units and entertainment centers
• Home bars and wine cellars

All services are subject to availability and our acceptance of your order.

3. Quotations and Pricing

All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice. Final pricing will be confirmed in writing before work commences.

Quotations are based on information provided by the client. Any changes to specifications may result in price adjustments.

4. Payment Terms

• A 50% deposit is required upon acceptance of quotation to commence work
• The remaining 50% is due upon completion of installation
• Payment can be made via bank transfer or cash
• Late payments may incur interest charges
• We reserve the right to suspend work for non-payment

5. Design and Approval

We provide 3D design renderings for a fee of R850. Once you approve the final design, any subsequent changes may incur additional charges. It is the client's responsibility to verify all measurements and specifications before approving the design.

6. Manufacturing and Installation

Manufacturing timelines are estimates and may vary depending on material availability and project complexity. We will keep you informed of any delays.

Installation requires access to the site and suitable working conditions. The client is responsible for ensuring the site is ready for installation, including:

• Clear access to work areas
• Removal of existing fixtures (if required)
• Availability of electricity and water
• Structural soundness of walls and floors

7. Warranties

We provide a 12-month warranty on workmanship from the date of installation. This warranty covers:

• Defects in materials and workmanship
• Proper functioning of hinges, drawer runners, and hardware

The warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear
• Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or accidents
• Damage from water, heat, or environmental factors
• Modifications or repairs by third parties
• Natural variations in wood grain and color

8. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations must be made in writing. If you cancel after work has commenced:

• Before manufacturing: 50% of deposit is refundable
• After manufacturing begins: No refund on deposit
• After installation: No refunds

9. Liability

Kitchen Cupboards shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific project.

10. Intellectual Property

All designs, drawings, and specifications remain the intellectual property of Kitchen Cupboards. Clients may not reproduce or use our designs for other purposes without written permission.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be governed by the laws of South Africa. We encourage clients to contact us first to resolve any issues amicably. If necessary, disputes may be referred to mediation or the appropriate South African courts.

12. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, material shortages, or government restrictions.

13. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
